11th Nov - The Zodiac and Planets:
Explore the archetypal energies of the well known Planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars etc), as well as the lesser known Asteroids (Juno, Vesta, Chiron etc) within the backdrop of the Greco-Roman Gods and Goddess Pantheon.
Meet the mythology of the Zodiac Constellations, and how they the planets and zodiac weave together in different expressions of energy.
This Class includes:
•The Planet and Astroid Archetypes and what they represent within a chart
•What a Planet in Retrograde represents
•The Zodiac Signs, their Mythologies and ruling planet.
•Classification systems of the Zodiac in terms if Elements (Earth, Air, Fire, Water) and Mode (Cardinal, Mutable, Fixed).
•What the combination of a planet within a sign means.
18th Nov - The House Systems:
Astrology charts are divided into 12 houses, each representing different areas of life, like career, relationships, home, and more. The way the sky is sectioned into these houses varies depending on the system used, and this can affect the interpretation of your chart in terms of how the Planets in a sign manifest in life themes.
This class includes:
•What each House represents and their zodiac connection.
•Different House Systems - Placidus, Whole-Sign, Equal House, Campanus, Koch, and Porphyry.
•How to choose a system that works for you!
25th Nov - Casting and Reading a Chart:
By calculating and casting our own chart we will start to put all the pieces together. Step by step we will calculate and draw our own personal Natal Charts and explore interpretations of this.
This class includes:
•How to calculate and draw your own natal (birth) chart.
•Interpreting the planets within zodiac signs and house placements.
•Interpretings "Aspects" between planets I.e. how the placement and angles between planets effect one. Creating the overall features of charts.
•Identifying key themes of a chart such as Chart shape, ruling elements and dominant planets.
2nd Dec - Synastry, Relationship and Family Astrology:
By laying two or more charts over one we can see how the astrology relating to people, events and environments effect one another. This method can be utilised to understand compatibility of relationships, friendships and family systems, as well as extending onto environmental settings and places in the world (carto-astrology).
In this class we will:
•Go through exercises of chart comparisons and learn how to interpret relationship charts.
•Revisit elemental combinations
•Explore how family units work astrologically.
•Introduce the concept of environments, places of work, countries etc. having a "chart and how it interacts with your chart.
•Brief introduction to carto-astrology.
9th Dec - Predictive and Collective Astrology:
Astrology was always intended for the recognition of greater patterns. In the ancient world only the very few would have a Natal Chart cast, but Astrologers would mostly study how the planets effect the collective mind and subsequent events. From this predictive patterns are drawn and horoscopes aided with how personal astrology charts interact with the Dance of the Cosmos.
In this class we will:
•Explore the Astrology Eras - the 700 year long of Astrology
•The patterns related to the "Generational Planets" with slower orbits such as, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto.
•How planets transiting other signs effect our personal charts, and how we can cast and prepare for personal horoscopes and major transits e.g. The Saturn Return.
